Just like other states in India, the Government of Maharashtra under the leadership of the current Chief Minister is running the Ladki Bahin Yojana (Girl-Sister Scheme). This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to women belonging to poor and economically weaker sections of the state.

Under this scheme, registered women beneficiaries receive financial support of up to ₹1,500 every month. At present, more than 2 crore women in Maharashtra are registered under the scheme and are regularly receiving the benefits.

Eligibility Criteria for Ladki Bahin Yojana

Women must meet the following conditions to receive benefits under the Maharashtra Ladki Bahin Yojana:

• The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra.
• The applicant must have completed her KYC verification as required by the government.
• The woman’s economic status should be middle-class or below the poverty line.
• The woman’s age must be 60 years or below. Women older than 60 years are not eligible for this scheme.

Ladki Bahin Yojana KYC Deadline

The Maharashtra Government has made KYC verification mandatory for all registered women. The process is currently active, and women are completing it continuously.

The last date to complete the KYC process is 18 November 2025. Women who fail to complete KYC before this deadline will not be able to access the KYC portal later.

Women can easily complete their KYC process online by following these steps:

• Visit the official website of the Ladki Bahin Yojana.
• On the homepage, log in with your registered details.
• After logging in, click on the ‘KYC’ option.
• A new window will open where you need to enter your Aadhaar number.
• Click on ‘Generate OTP’ to receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
• Enter the OTP on the screen and submit the form.
• Once submitted, your KYC will be completed successfully.
• It is recommended to take a printout of the confirmation for your records.
