Main Features of Lek Ladki Yojana
The scheme provides fund support to the covered girls at different stages of her life. Award is paid at birth, and rest of the amounts are paid when the girl enrolls for primary, secondary and higher secondary class, and the last amount will be paid at 18 years of age. All the payments are being made through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in bank account of guardian mother.
